Arm Lift Surgery
Brachioplasty or Arm Lift is a procedure to remove excess skin from the upper arm. After extensive weight loss, it is not uncommon for loose skin to make it difficult to enjoy the results of your hard work. A brachioplasty, or arm lift surgery, can remove excess skin and contour the upper arm.
The procedure is typically performed under general anesthesia. The surgeon makes an incision along the inside of the upper arm and removes the excess skin. The incision is then closed with stitches.
Brachioplasty is a relatively safe procedure with a high success rate. The results are usually permanent. However, there are some potential risks associated with the procedure, including infection, bleeding, and scarring.
