No Shave FUE Hair Transplants For Ultra Fast Recovery

Until recently, the process of harvesting hair grafts from the donor area required the back of the head to be shaved, leaving an undesirable bald patch which is particularly objectionable for women needing FUE / DHI Hair Transplants.

How is the Unshaven FUE (U-FUE) performed?

Depending on the thickness of your hair in the donor area (back of your head) when performing a U-FUE Dr Patty will only harvest every 2nd or 3rd hair. This leaves your donor area with enough coverage to hide the harvested hair. Usually within 14 days your hair will have thickened up enough at the back to be pretty much back to normal.

Does U-FUE Hair Transplant take longer than FUE Hair Transplant?

Yes. Due to the meticulous effort required to only harvest every second or third hair rather than traditional strip harvesting a U-FUE hair transplant normally takes about 2 to 3 hours longer a FUE Hair Transplant.

How many days do I need to stay in Bangkok, Thailand?

Bodyline recommends at least 5 nights in Bangkok. This will provide you with enough time for 2 follow up visits with the Dr and team to have your scalp disinfected/washed and routine examination. Most patients stay on average 5 to 7 nights. Scalp washing is provided for up to 14 days post surgery.

How long does it take for my new hair to grow?

You should see new growth on your implanted areas quickly. However the big shocker to most people is the fact most of this new visible growth will fall out. Despite how disturbing and deflating this may be, it is completely normal. Only your visible hair is falling out. The roots do not and within a short time later you will start to notice genuine, live, new hair growing which should last for the remainder of your hair's natural life.

Day 01.Surgeon Consult

Dr Patty will go over your case, discussing your hopes and what's attainable. Then together you will create a treatment plan that you are happy with.

Day 02.FUE Procedure

The procedure is completed under local aneasthetic meaning you will be conscious but not feel any pain. You will get breaks when you need it.

Day 03 - 05.Recovery

The recovery for most is not painful. Your scalp will be sensitive to touch. Every 2nd day you will visit the clinic for washing. After day 5, you can head back home.
